2014 US-China Innovation Dialogue Briefing

Please join the US-China Business Council and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce for a debrief on the 2014 US-China Innovation Dialogue with the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy (OSTP). Briefers will include Adam Bobrow, Senior Policy Advisor for International Affairs, and Colleen Chien, Senior Advisor to the Chief Technology Officer, Intellectual Property and Innovation.

The 2014 US-China Innovation Dialogue was held on July 7-8, immediately prior to the US-China Strategic & Economic Dialogue (S&ED). This dialogue, led by OSTP Director John Holdren and Chinese Minister of Science and Technology Wan Gang, is a key channel to address bilateral issues related to innovation approaches and policies; this year’s dialogue featured discussions between government and industry experts on a range of innovation issues, including China’s innovation tax policies, biopharmaceutical innovation, and electric vehicle standards and infrastructure.

This meeting will be off the record, and is open to invited members of the two hosting organization only. RSVPs will be taken on a first-come, first-served basis.
