There’s been some progress on a Phase One trade deal that could possibly be signed by Presidents Trump and Xi at the APEC Summit in Chile and USTR is accepting tariff exclusion requests for Chinese imports on List 4 A.

This week, we get the latest from Owen Haacke, our Shanghai chief representative who’s on the road in Huzhou at the moment. After covering the Phase One deal and USTR’s exclusion requests, we talk about the Fourth Plenum and some provincial engagement that USCBC President Craig Allen has been leading.
